The BIG day

We were married in the Los Angeles, CA Temple on May 8, 2010! It was such a beautiful day. There was so much traffic on the way home that we were 15 minutes late to our own reception! It took 3 1/2 hours from Los Angeles to Corona. Our photographer Vanessa Lamb took amazing photos of us at the temple and an orchard/field. Here are just a few of our favorites! I just love this picture of my Great Grandmother, I just had to put it up.

Preparation!

My Dad's long time friend was nice enough to let us use their backyard for our reception. My Dad worked so hard to get the yard ready for the big day, along with Michael, his brother, brother-in-law and Dad. After working so hard they were treated to pole position from my Dad. We had some amazing friends come and help set up and my amazing family from both sides. I received an early wedding gift and it was the best of them all! My Grandma Steimle who is serving a mission with my Grandpa in Guatemala was able to fly home for a few days to be here for my wedding. There were tears of joy from all of us, no one in our family had a clue till she showed up. Thank you so much for coming Grandma it meant the world to have you. After a long day of setting up we had a wonderful dinner prepared for us by my Mom's best friend Kerri. She was so helpful and I know my Mom and I couldn't have pulled this off without her!

Bridal Showers!

One of my best friends Maleah put together the best bridal shower for me! Other best friend flew all the way from California to Utah to be there. I was so grateful for the both of them and for everyone who came. We met at Maleahs house and had finger foods, open wonderful gifts and played some silly games. Afterward a few of my closed friends went to Texas Roadhouse and pigged out! They also made me wear one of the bras someone bought me over my shirt the whole night, we got some looks but we had a blast! My Mom and her best friend Kerri also put together a Bridal shower for me in California with close friends and family. We had some amazing food, looked back on some amazing memories and also received very needed and wonderful gifts! Thanks everyone for coming! Here are a few pictures from both showers, I'm sure you'll be able to tell the difference between the two showers lol

Engaged but not underage!

Micheal Proposed November 1, 2009. It was Halloween night when I got the feeling something fishing was going on. Michaels sister Michelle put together a small Halloween party so we were all together with his family. I was texting my Dad a question, he answered and then added that "he received Michaels phone call and that if he was calling for a special reason that Micheal knew that he had to ask in person." I was shocked! Michael and my Dad tried to play it off and I went along with it to not ruin the surprise. The next day after church Michael took me to Sugarhouse, one of our favorite places for Sunday drives. This time he asked if I wanted to park and take a walk. We got out of the car and he proceeded to tell me how much he loved me and then pulled out a small scrapbook decorated with wedding stickers and a ring hanging from a ribbon and asked me to marry him. It was so perfect! Here are just a few of our favorite engagement pictures. Our pictures were taken by Vanessa Lamb, she was awesome! Vanessa-lamb-photo.blogspot.com
